Under-19 Asia Cup To Be Held In Sri Lanka

The Under-19 Asia Cup will be held will start from December 18 in Colombo, it was announced on Tuesday (November 29). The final of the eight-team event will be played on December 23.

Nepal and Malaysia have been put in Group A with India and Sri Lanka while Afghanistan and Singapore find themselves pooled together with Pakistan and Bangladesh in Group B. 12 group games will be played before the two semifinals.

The last edition of the tournament was held in the United Arab Emirates where India beat Pakistan in the final by 40 runs. In the 2012 edition, the two teams shared the title after the tournament was tied in Kuala Lumpur.

December 15: India vs Malaysia; Sri Lanka vs Nepal; Pakistan vs Singapore; Afghanistan vs Bangladesh

December 16: Malaysia vs Sri Lanka; Nepal vs India; Singapore vs Bangladesh; Afghanistan vs Bangladesh

December 18: India vs Sri Lanka; Malaysia vs Nepal; Pakistan vs Bangladesh; Afghanistan vs Singapore

December 20: Semifinal 1

December 21: Semifinal 2

December 23: Final
