Secretary to the Public Administration and Management Ministry J. Dadallage said that he will not assume duties at the Ministry of Posts, Postal Services and Muslim Religious Affairs and is planning to appeal against the transfer.
Speaking to Asian Mirror, he said that he has been informed of the transfer as Secretary of the Ministry of Posts, Postal Services and Muslim Religious Affairs.
It was said that he was transferred on service requirements.
Dadallage had recently given an interview to the media where he had criticized the steps taken against certain bureaucrats on alleged financial fraud during the former regime without what he called concrete proof.
