Death Toll From Floods And Landslides Rises To 206; 92 Missing, 68 Injured

The death toll from the floods and landslides has risen to 206, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) said today.

A total of 658, 490 were affected by the extreme weather conditions in 15 districts.

68, 734 people from 18, 106 families were moved to 365 safer locations and have been warned not to return home until notified to.

1, 713 homes are fully destroyed by the floods and landslides while 9, 294 were partially damaged.

Relief and rescue work is continuing in the areas, supported by the tri-forces.
