Nepali soldiers pulled A four-month old baby from the earthquake rubble in Nepal, after being trapped for more than 22 hours.

They spent most of Sunday (26) trying to reach the boy after his parents called for help, Kathmandu Today reported.

At midnight they called off the operation, after deciding the baby had died.

But his cries were heard a few hours later, Kathmandu Today said. The soldiers raced back and started digging again, finally pulling the child alive from the debris.

The baby was taken to Bhaktapur Hospital for a check up and was cleared of any injuries.
