Suspected Narcotics Sack Found on Bentota Beach

Police discovered a sack suspected to contain narcotics on Bentota beach this (18) morning.

Authorities report that the sack may contain between 20 and 25 kilograms of substances suspected to be drugs.

Police believe the sack was washed ashore and recovered during a routine coastal patrol. Investigations are ongoing to determine the type of drugs and their origin.
