In view of the prevailing disaster situation, it has been decided not to hold the Committee Stage debate of the Budget in Parliament tomorrow and the day after.

This decision was taken at the Party Leaders’ meeting held this afternoon (27).

Accordingly, Parliament is scheduled to reconvene next Monday, and it has been decided that sittings on Monday and Tuesday will continue into the night.

On both Monday and Tuesday, the debate scheduled for those days will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., while the debate that was originally planned for tomorrow and the day after will be taken up from 6 p.m. and continue into the night.
