Indian Rescue Team Arrives to Assist Flood Relief Efforts

An Indian rescue team arrived in Sri Lanka this morning (29) to support ongoing relief operations as severe weather continues to impact several parts of the island.

The team, which arrived on an Indian aircraft along with four sniffer dogs. They have brought essential disaster-response and relief equipment to strengthen ongoing rescue efforts.

Their mission is to work alongside Sri Lankan authorities to rapidly reach affected communities and provide critical assistance to those impacted by widespread flooding.
