India, Sri Lanka Only Agreed to Continue Discussions on ETCA During Prez’s Visit

India and Sri Lanka only agreed to further discuss the Economic and Technology Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) during the President’s recent visit to India, Foreign Affairs Minister Vijitha Herath said on 20 December.

He made this remark during a media briefing held at the Foreign Ministry regarding the President’s visit to India.

Herath was responding to queries about whether the two countries had agreed to sign the agreement.
