Death Toll from Adverse Weather Rises to 643

The death toll resulting from the adverse weather conditions experienced across the country over the past few days has increased to 643, the Disaster Management Center (DMC) confirmed.

The DMC said that a further 184 people are still reported missing.

Extreme weather has affected all 25 districts of the island, impacting 1,364,481 people from 391,401 families.
