Janashakthi Insurance PLC said that it has appointed Annika Senanayake as its new Chairperson with effect from 01 January 2025.

With over 15 years of leadership experience at IWS Holdings Group, a diversified conglomerate,she brings expertise in telecommunications, media, logistics, aviation and more. Her in-depth knowledge of corporate strategy and business growth is expected to guide Janashakthi Insurance Company’s next expansion in Sri Lanka’s competitive insurance industry.

Ms. Senanayake currently holds several leadership roles including directorships at IWS Holdings (Pvt) Ltd and RAD Productions USA LLC. Her past roles include being an Independent Non-Executive Director of Sampath Bank PLC and CEO of ART Television Broadcasting Co.
