National People’s Power (NPP) Puttalam District MP Muhammad Faizal was involved in a road accident in Bandara Watta, Chilaw, after the vehicle he was driving veered off the road and crashed into a wall.

The accident, which occurred at around 11:45 p.m. yesterday, caused significant damage to both the vehicle and the wall, according to reports.

It is learnt that the MP was the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time of the incident.

The Chilaw Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
