The Anuradhapura Magistrate’s Court has issued warrants for the arrest of the Atamasthanadhipati, Pallegama Hemarathana Thera, and the mother of a girl following a child abuse investigation.

This order was delivered today (8) after the National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) presented submissions that led the Magistrate to formally name both individuals as suspects in the case.
