The Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) has confirmed that the official website of the Government Printing Department has been hacked.

Investigations are ongoing, with initial findings indicating that an external party gained unauthorised access and altered website data.

Additionally, CERT reported that the official YouTube channel of the Sri Lanka Police has also been compromised by an external party.

The Sri Lanka Police informed the public of the incident through their official Facebook account and expressed regret over the unauthorised activities. Efforts are underway to restore the YouTube channel as soon as possible, the Police said.
