The University of Moratuwa has been temporarily closed after a number of students contracted dengue.
Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education Madhura Seneviratne said the decision was taken yesterday (July 6) following discussions with health authorities.
The closure follows a similar decision taken recently to temporarily shut down the University of the Visual and Performing Arts after dengue cases were reported among its students.
