Landmark 1,000th vehicle delivery reflects growing customer confidence in Hayleys Mobility’s future-ready mobility solutions

Hayleys Mobility Limited, the mobility segment of Hayleys Fentons Limited, has marked the delivery of its 1,000th vehicle—a milestone achieved within its first nine months of operation and a clear reflection of the trust Sri Lankan motorists have placed in the company.

The milestone represents 1,000 customers, families and businesses beginning new journeys with Hayleys Mobility. Through its growing portfolio of OMODA & JAECOO, KAIYI, SRM, CF MOTO and King Long vehicles, the company offers electric, hybrid and petrol-powered passenger and commercial vehicles tailored to Sri Lanka’s evolving mobility requirements.

This growth has been underpinned by an expanding island-wide branch and service network, bringing sales and after-sales support closer to customers across the country. Strategic financing partnerships with more than 20 leading financial institutions have also made new vehicle ownership more accessible to a wider range of Sri Lankans.

The achievement was celebrated at a special event held at the OMODA & JAECOO Flagship Store at Altair, bringing together customers and business partners to mark the delivery of the landmark 1,000th vehicle.

Commenting on the achievement, Hayleys Fentons Limited Managing Director Hasith Prematillake said: “Reaching 1,000 vehicles within such a short span demonstrates the power of trust. Customers have responded with confidence because Hayleys Mobility is backed by the century-long engineering heritage of Hayleys Fentons and the 148-year legacy of the Hayleys Group. When a customer chooses a vehicle from us, they also choose an organisation that will stand behind that vehicle for years to come.”

Reflecting on the vision behind Hayleys Mobility, Hayleys Mobility Limited Executive Director Roshani Dharmaratne said: “We began this journey with one clear aspiration: to help make brand-new vehicle ownership a reality for more Sri Lankans. Today, that aspiration has 1,000 stories behind it.

“This milestone also brings our promise, ‘One Brand for Every Journey’, to life. Whether it is a family purchasing its first new vehicle, an entrepreneur expanding a business, or a driver embracing electric mobility, we want Hayleys Mobility to make that next journey possible. One thousand vehicles is a proud beginning; the road ahead holds an even greater promise.”

Hayleys Mobility Limited Chief Executive Officer Rajieve Fernando added: “We are uniquely positioned to deliver a complete mobility ecosystem, encompassing electric, hybrid and petrol vehicles, charging infrastructure, manufacturer-backed warranties, genuine spare parts and island-wide after-sales support. This milestone demonstrates that Sri Lankan customers value mobility solutions backed by scale, expertise and long-term assurance.”

As it moves beyond its first 1,000 deliveries, Hayleys Mobility remains focused on expanding customer choice, strengthening its presence across Sri Lanka and making dependable, future-ready mobility more accessible.

The company is also preparing to broaden its offering by entering the two-wheeler segment, extending its mobility ecosystem to an even wider range of Sri Lankan customers.
