LAUGFS Gas PLC says it is holding preliminary discussions with various parties regarding LAUGFS Terminals Limited, which owns the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) terminal at Hambantota International Port.
In a disclosure to the Colombo Stock Exchange, the company said the discussions cover potential commercial partnerships, new investments or the partial or full transfer of share ownership in LAUGFS Terminals Limited.
However, no final agreement has been reached on the nature or terms of any proposed transaction, the company emphasised.
LAUGFS added that it could not assess the potential financial impact at this stage, given the preliminary nature of the discussions.
The LPG terminal has a capacity of 30,000 metric tonnes and is a significant component of Sri Lanka’s energy infrastructure.
