Senior journalist Chandana Sooriyabandara has been appointed as the Media Advisor to the President.
He received his appointment letter this afternoon (24) from Secretary to the President, Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, at the Presidential Secretariat.
Sooriyabandara is a seasoned journalist with over 30 years of experience.
