The Sri Lanka Women’s Cricket Team leveled the series 1-1 against the New Zealand Women’s Team after the third and final T20I in Dunedin was abandoned due to rain on Monday (17).

With just four balls remaining in the revised 15-over match – New Zealand Women were bowled out for 101 in 14.1 overs when the match was called off early due to rain.

With both teams winning one match each, the series ended in a draw. Chamari Atapattu, who led Sri Lanka from the front, was named the Player of the Tournament for her all-round performance.

Sri Lanka had earlier levelled the series by winning the second match of the series, securing their first T20I victory against New Zealand, after losing the opening match.
