FitzAir, Sri Lanka’s first privately owned international airline and a leading low-cost carrier, yesterday announced the launch of Business Class across its regional network, effective today (25).

The move represents a strategic milestone in FitzAir’s growth story, combining premium features with its core promise of affordability and reliability.

Tailored for the modern business traveler, the enhanced offering includes priority check-in, fast track boarding and expedited baggage handling, as well as flexible rebooking and cancellation options to further enhance the convenience of frequent flyers.

Business Class passengers are entitled to a 40kg baggage allowance and 10kg hand luggage, as well as free seat selection, private in-flight entertainment devices packed with curated content and much more.

“As a low-cost carrier, our goal has always been to make air travel more accessible. With the launch of Business Class, we are taking it a step further, allowing the budget-conscious traveler to experience the comfort, exclusivity and personalized service traditionally reserved for premium fares. This is about redefining value for today’s traveler,” said Ammar Qasim, Executive Director, FitzAir.

The introduction of Business Class is a natural progression in FitzAir’s mission to enhance the flying experience by expanding its footprint across South Asia and the Middle East.
