Special Police Unit at SLBFE to Probe Foreign Job Complaints

A special police investigation unit has been established at the head office of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) to provide swift solutions to complaints related to foreign employment.

The unit comprises 16 police officers, including a Chief Inspector of Police, who have been assigned to investigate and resolve issues efficiently.

Established in 1985 under the Foreign Employment Act, the SLBFE continues to assist those seeking foreign employment by ensuring their complaints are addressed promptly and effectively.
