Jaffna District MP Dr Archchuna Ramanathan was arrested today (29) by Fort Police for allegedly obstructing police duty.

Police said the arrest relates to an incident on 22 September, when he allegedly parked his vehicle across the road near the Fort Railway Station during a protest, disrupting police operations.
