Common Amnesty Given To Illegal Migrants In Saudi Arabia Extended

According to the Foreign Employment Bureau, the common amnesty given to the illegal migrants in Saudi Arabia to go back to their countries without any punishment will be extended up to the 23rd of this month. About 4,500 Sri Lankan migrant workers have come back to Sri Lanka during the common amnesty period.

The Foreign Employment Bureau requests the illegal Sri Lankan migrants to Saudi Arabia to use this opportunity to come back to Sri Lanka. If they continue to stay there violating the amnesty period, then they will be arrested and exiled. They will also be subjected to heavy fines.
