'Strangers' is another ultra exceptional step pioneered by the Department of Marketing Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, providing a unique outbound experience of adventure, excitement and enthusiasm , promoting the spirits of good health, well being, and sporting culture among the undergraduates all around the world.

The very first Strangers was proudly initiated by the Department of Marketing Management back in 2013, and this marked a turning point in the university arena as the first ever event particularly for the first years , full of challenges, fun and entertainment. Getting to know the seniors, fellow colleagues, coping with them while going after clews a midst of several challenges, winning the obstacles, tackling the hardships, exploring the true essence of city romps were all a new and an ultra fresh experience to the participants, and the highly increased enthusiasm for the second strangers in 2014, proved that the attempt by the Marketing Team was not in vain at all!

“Strangers" has always been the event by the Marketing team exclusively for the 1st year students of the Faculty with the prime objective of creating a friendly bond with the fresh blood, making them familiar with the University life, and most importantly, building mental and physical fitness in them by letting them face challenges as a team, and also to take instant decisions suitable to various unexpected circumstances.

Strangers 2015, one step forward, which is the third consecutive attempt by them, is sure to revolutionize the history of University events like never before!
