Dr. Anja Kopac Mrak Minister of Labour,family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunity of Slovenia and Marjetka Kastner of Life Learning Academia of Slovenia awarded the title "Ambassador of Knowledge" to Insurance Board of Sri Lanka Director Asanga Abeyagoonasekera.

The title was awarded along with Dr. Edward de Bono of Malta, Ravi Chaudhry of India, Diane Lang of South Africa and few other distinguished delegates from around the world at the annual Academic Economic Congress on 4th June 2015 in Kranj, Slovenia.

Abeyagoonasekera is the former Executive Director of Lakshman Kadirgarma Institute of International Relations and Strategic Studies.
