Past few days pictures of exported brand new Rolls-Royce Wraith in Sri Lanka customs made a buzz. As reported it is the most expensive car to be exported to Sri Lanka so far. It is said that the car is exported by a businessman from Panchikawatta for personnel use. Here are some fascinating facts about the car-

Popular among the uber elite in the world, Rolls-Royce Wraith is a 4 seat coupé made by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and based on the chassis of the Rolls-Royce Ghost. The name Wraith comes from an old Scottish word meaning image of a ghost or spirit. According to Rolls-Royce official site it takes 450 hours to build and craft Wraith. 

It’s the first car in the world to feature Satellite Aided Transmission. The "technology uses GPS mapping data to ensure the correct gear is always pre-selected for the road terrain ahead," said Rolls-Royce in a statement. Powered by a 6.6-liter V12 engine with an output of 624 bhp and 590 pound-feet of torque, Rolls-Royce's coupe can reach the 62 mph mark from a standing start in just 4.6 seconds. The two-tone Wraith debuted at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show. The bespoke beauty comes with a $300,000+ (Rs. 43,500,000/-) price tag without government taxes.
