Former celebrity publicist Max Clifford has appeared before magistrates charged with indecently assaulting a 17-year-old girl.
He is accused of committing the offence at his London offices between October 1981 and May 1982. He indicated he would be pleading not guilty.
Clifford, 72, formerly represented some of the biggest names in show business, including pop mogul Simon Cowell.
He will next appear at Southwark Crown Court on 4 August.
