A smooth criminal who had sex in a cleaning cupboard with a female warden to persuade her to smuggle drugs and phones into his jail was locked up for four years.
Andrelle Leedham, 26, seduced prison worker Hannah Stewart so successfully that she was soon writing secret love letters to him at HMP Featherstone, Staffs.
The 27-year-old became 'besotted' with the criminal after they met in the education department of the Category C jail where Leedham worked as a cleaner.
Derby Crown Court heard after the 'smooth-talking' con won her over with his charm, she fell head over heels and agreed to smuggle a contraband package into the jail following his release.
It contained seven mobile phones, cannabis, anabolic steroids, whisky and vodka - inside a sports bag she normally carried her lunch in.
She was caught delivering the 2kg stash into the jail for Leedham's pals in November, last year.
Stewart, from Featherstone, Staffs, has already admitted misconduct in a public office and conspiracy to supply drugs and anabolic steroids.
Leedham, from Blakenhall, West Mids, was this week convicted of conspiracy to supply drugs at Derby Crown Court and was jailed.
He smiled broadly and put two thumbs up as he was led from the dock.
Recorder Peter Cooke said: "There is no evidence that this was anything other than the first consignment they had attempted to bring into the prison.
"Leedham was the prime mover and was certainly pulling the strings.
"It is my belief that he inveigled his way into her affections and was manipulative towards her."
Stewart, who had worked at the prison for four years alongside her father and brother, is currently on bail and will be sentenced at a later date.
