The Sarvajana Bala Party will not participate in the opposition rally scheduled for 21 November, according to the party’s Operations Chief and MP Madhura Withanage.

Speaking at a press conference held on 30 October, Withanage accused the opposition alliance of being manipulated by the government, claiming that “everything discussed by the opposition ends up in government hands.”

He further said that the opposition must present a concrete plan outlining what it intends to do for the people, instead of merely chanting slogans against the government.
