The Supreme Court has dismissed three petitions filed seeking a writ order to invalidate the Colombo High Court’s decision to freeze the assets of former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and his family members.
On 5 July, the Colombo High Court ordered the suspension of fixed deposits and insurance policies valued at approximately Rs. 97 million belonging to Rambukwella and five of his close relatives.
The asset freeze order will remain in effect until 6 January 2026.
