Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) General Secretary Tilvin Silva has faced protests by a group of LTTE sympathisers during his visit to the United Kingdom.
Silva is currently on a tour of the UK to meet Sri Lankan expatriates and hold discussions with them.
The incident was reported as he was scheduled to attend a public meeting organised by the London branch of the National People’s Power (NPP). The arrival of protesters created a tense atmosphere at the venue.
