BNMF Donates Rs 250 Million to Govt’s Disaster Relief Fund

The Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation (BNMF) has donated Rs 250 million to the government’s relief fund established to support communities affected by recent emergency disaster situations.

The donation was handed over by former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga to Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya at the Prime Minister’s Office.

The primary aim of the fund is to assist disaster-affected communities by providing relief and supporting recovery and restoration efforts across the country.

Minister of Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Hiniduma Sunil Senevi, along with members of the BNMF Board of Directors, also attended the event.
