All liquor outlets across the island will be closed tomorrow (25) in view of the Christmas festival, the Excise Department has announced.

The department said the order will not apply to tourist board–approved star-class hotels operating under FL7 licences, nor to premises holding special three-year licences.

Accordingly, the sale and serving of liquor at these exempted establishments may continue as usual, the Excise Department said.
