CBSL announces moratorium on MSME concessions till March 2025

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka issued a circular to licensed banks on 19.12.2024 stating the relief to be provided to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) affected by the Easter Sunday attack, the COVID-19 pandemic and abnormal macroeconomic conditions.

The meetings of the Working Committee on Debt Recovery by the Banking (Special Provisions) (Amendment) Act No. 26 of 2024 was held as agreed by The Association of Sri Lanka Banks Limited (Certificate).
