Exports of coconut products will increase in November 2024

The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) reports growth of 13.08% in the export revenue of coconut related products for the month of November 2024. These earnings increased from $62.06 million in November 2023 to $70.18 million in November 2024.

Cumulative earnings for January to November 2024 also increased by 19.86% to $782.32 million compared to $652.70 million in the same period last year.

Provisional data from Sri Lanka Customs shows a 5.6% decline in merchandise exports for November 2024, with earnings recorded at $943.1 million.
