Employees attached to the Badulla District Secretariat and several Divisional Secretariat offices staged a silent protest during their lunch hour today (17), opposing the move to remove Badulla District Secretary Prabath Abeywardena from his post.

The demonstration was held within the premises of the District Secretariat, with staff expressing their objection to the action taken against the senior administrative official.
