The Court of Appeal has rejected, without taking them up for hearing, two writ petitions filed against an order issued by the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence directing the removal of three armouries operated under Avant Garde.

The petitions were filed by the company and several of its employees, seeking to invalidate the directive issued by the Defence Secretary.

However, after a preliminary consideration of the applications, the Court of Appeal ordered that the petitions be dismissed.
