90-Day Detention Order Issued Against Suresh Sallay

Former Director of the State Intelligence Service (SIS), retired Major General Suresh Sallay, who was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with investigations into the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks, has been authorised to be detained and questioned for a period of 90 days.

Sallay was arrested on Wednesday (25) morning while he was on his way to work at a private institution in Peliyagoda.
