Sri Lanka, India review bilateral cooperation and regional developments

Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath held what he described as a “warm and constructive” meeting with India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Herath said the two sides reviewed the progress of Sri Lanka–India cooperation and exchanged views on regional developments.

He added that Sri Lanka values India’s continued partnership and engagement.
