Opposition moves no-confidence motion against Power Minister over substandard coal imports

The Opposition has taken steps to bring a no-confidence motion against Power and Energy Minister Kumara Jayakody over the importation of substandard coal.

Seventeen Opposition MPs, including Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, have already signed the motion, which is scheduled to be officially handed over to the Speaker tomorrow (19).
