SJB MP Nalin Bandara said he does not believe that Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa attended the launch of the book on the Easter Sunday attacks authored by Pivithuru Hela Urumaya (PHU) leader Udaya Gammanpila.

Speaking to the media, Bandara claimed that visuals circulating of the Opposition Leader at the event had been artificially generated using artificial intelligence (AI).

He further alleged that a mastermind more powerful than Zahran was behind the Easter Sunday attacks, adding that he believes the individual responsible is still alive.

Bandara also claimed that individuals allegedly connected to those responsible for the Easter attacks were present at the event. He further charged that a group rejected by the public was attempting to once again incite ethnic divisions.

However, Gammanpila has posted several photos of Premadasa seating at the book launch on his Facebook.
