Sri Lanka’s rupee strengthened again against the US dollar today (25), according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, following a period of depreciation against the US currency.
Accordingly, the buying rate of the US dollar stood at Rs. 326.01 today, while the selling rate was recorded at Rs. 336.42.
This marks an improvement from last Friday, when the US dollar buying and selling rates were quoted at Rs. 342.63 and Rs. 354.03, respectively.
The latest figures indicate a recovery of the rupee against the dollar after recent downward pressure on the local currency.
