Attorney-at-law Rakitha Rajapakshe, the son of former Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, former Charith Abeysinghe organiser for the Horana electorate of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, and former Civil Aviation Authority director Arun Varunahendige were produced before court today (3).
The three suspects were scheduled to be produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.
They had been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption and remanded after being produced before court following their arrest. They remained in remand custody until being brought before court today.
