Spider-Man co-stars Tom Holland and Zendaya are engaged.
The news comes after Zendaya flashed a massive diamond ring on her left ring finger to the shutterbugs as she headed out to the 2025 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.
Holland, 28, and Zendaya got engaged over the Christmas and New Year holidays, a family source confirmed to People magazine.
Another source told the publication that “everyone close to them knew an engagement was coming,” and that Holland had been interested in proposing to Zendaya for a while.
“Holland has always been crazy about her. He’s always known she’s the one. They have something very special,” the source added.
But the couple is in no rush to tie the knot.
“They’re enjoying things right now and won’t rush into a wedding. They’re both busy with work projects. Tom always had this sweet way of letting the world know that Zendaya was his.”
The cast will reunite for the as-yet-untitled fourth Spider-Man film, which begins filming this summer.
They met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming, in which Holland played the superhero/Peter Parker and Zendaya played his classmate and love interest, MJ. They also reprised their roles in 2019’s Spider-Man: Far from Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
