Former Sri Lankan Ambassador to Russia Udayanga Weerathunga who was arrested today (10 January) by the Mirihana Police was remanded until 17 January by Nugegoda Magistrate’s Court.

Weeratunga has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a neighbour, the Mirihana Police said.
