The Ceylon Tobacco Company (CTC) has announced that cigarette prices will increase starting 11 January, following a rise in the Excise Duty imposed on cigarettes.
The price hike will apply across four categories, with an increase of Rs. 5 to Rs. 10 per stick.
Meanwhile, prices of liquor will also be increased by approximately 6% with the increase of the excise duty from tomorrow.
