The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) reported that Anuradhapura, Kilinochchi, Kegalle, and Galle districts have been severely impacted by the prevailing inclement weather.
Heavy rains since 15 January have affected 603 individuals from 319 families, with four houses in the Kegalle and Galle districts partially damaged.
Additionally, 200 people from 71 families have been evacuated to safer locations due to the adverse weather conditions, according to the DMC.
