Sri Lanka’s popular fast bowler Lasith Malinga launched his debut book “The Killer” at a grand launch event in Colombo yesterday (20) afternoon.

This book by Malinga delves into 21 fascinating facts about bowling and gives insight into the art of fast bowling that made him a cricket icon.

The launch event was attended by several former cricket legends including Sanath Jayasuriya, Mahela Jayawardene, Chaminda Vaas, Ajantha Mendis and Mawan Athapattu and many other ex-players.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) President Shammi Silva and other cricket officials also attended the event. As a symbolic gesture, the first copy of ‘The Killer’ was presented to Shammi Silva by Malinga’s father, marking an unforgettable moment at the event.

Known for his unique style of bowling and unique contribution to the game of cricket, Malinga is inspiring the next generation of fast bowlers through this new venture, imparting invaluable knowledge to cricketers and fans alike.
