Maliban Dairy and Agro Products (Pvt) Ltd., the agro-cultural arm of Maliban Group, a pioneer biscuit manufacturer in Sri Lanka, has achieved the prestigious GLOBAL G.A.P (Good Agricultural Practices) certification for their mango cultivation in Monaragala, Athimale, Kotiyagala, which produces TOMEJC premium mangoes under the Maliban Pure Harvest brand. The certification process was facilitated by Control Union Inspections (Pvt) Ltd., a globally recognized and accredited organization operating in over 50 countries. The certification was officially presented to Maliban at a recent ceremony by Roshan Ranawaka, Chairman of Maliban and Managing Director of Control Union Inspections.
GLOBAL G.A.P certification is in high demand by leading global retailers as a benchmark for quality and safety for agriculture-based products.
