Sri Lanka to Designate Special Day to Celebrate Cultures of All Ethnicities

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake today (31 January) announced that a special day will be designated in October to honour the cultures, traditions, and values of all ethnic communities in Sri Lanka .

Speaking at a public meeting in Valvettithurai, Jaffna, the President emphasised the importance of unity and inclusivity, stating that the initiative aims to recognise and celebrate the rich diversity of the nation.
