Two More State Institute Chairpersons Resign

Two More State Institute Chairpersons Resign

Two more chairpersons of state institutions have stepped down from their positions.

Accordingly, Dr. Ruwan Wijayamuni, Chairman of the National Transport Medical Institute, and Chinthaka Darshana Hewapathirana, Chairman of the National Youth Services Council, have tendered their resignations.

Earlier, Monty Ranathunga, Chairman of the National Housing Development Authority, also resigned from his post.

So far, a total of five chairpersons have resigned under the National People’s Power (NPP) Government.
